5 Inspirational Pakistani Digital Artists to Must Follow on Instagram!

This week’s feature, Social Media Focus is bringing you a doze of colors, doodles and digital illustrations. We have come up with a diverse list of our local creative heads on Instagram who are creating a stir with their amazing work.

1. Hamza Tariq

Hamza Tariq is not an ordinary fifteen year old kid.  He found his true calling in art and design a few years back and since then there has been no stopping  him. His posts depict his love for typography, sharpies, caricatures and pixel art. Hamza’s Instagram feed is a clear indication of how far the boy has traveled for his pursuit in creative design.

2. Shehzil Malik

Shehzil Malik’s news feed is an explosion of colors and rustic illustrations. This creative lady has been working as an art director for Ogilvy One. She has also been a part of the Arcade Creative Group at Sony Music Entertainment in New York City and has also supported a sociopreneurship venture UthOye! in Lahore.

3. Babrus Khan

If you love comics and are familiar with our nascent local industry than you must know Babrus Khan aka Babman. He is the creative head behind Team Muhafiz, a series of comics depicting Pakistan’s culture with multi ethnic superheroes. His news feed displays his breathtaking masterpieces. When he is not posting his artwork, you will still get to see his love for action figures and of course, chai.

 

4. Sadia Gillani

Enrolled in National College of Arts, Sadia Gillani is the creative head behind Prisms and Paintbrushes that offers you ‘whimsically illustrated and doodled’ merchandise. You can have a glimpse of her life as the ultimate doodler from her personal Instagram handler. However, if you are looking forward to drool over color popping illustrated notebooks, badges, magnets and a lot more then head over to the Instagram feed of Prisms & Paintbrushes.

5. Maha Abdul Alaam

Maha’s Instargram feed is a treat for any anime lover. Her posts depict her superpower to illustrate cute and yet fierce manga characters. From doodles to finished digital illustrations, her posts can be an overdose of creativity for you.
