The latest conference was held on November 17th in Sererna Hotel, Islamabad and was organized by US Aid and MIT Enterprise Forum. The aim of the conference MIT-BAP was to spread word about the Business Acceleration and also to appreciate the worthy in AllWorld Pakistan 100 Award and Summit.
The prestigious judges for the event included the founding MD of MIT Entrepreneurship Centre, Ken Moris, chairman MIT Enterprise Forum Global, Jason Pontin and CEO of Wateen Telecom, Naeem Zamindar among other well-known names.
Business Acceleration Program falls under the MIT Entrepreneurship Forum Pakistan. The program has produced successful business since 2007 and the aim of BAP 2013 was to discover talent in Pakistan in the field of IT and nurture it by providing the right guidance and mentorship. This year the program also encouraged startups and researchers, helping them achieve a better footing in the business world. The details of BAP’13 can be found here. These teams were ranked according to their skills and talent by judges in the summit.
2013’s lucky finalists included Tricast Media Pvt. Ltd, XGear, Symbios, Script Technologies, Swap Device, TourPlanner Pk, SMART SurgiSol and Evamp & Saanga. Ingenious Zone and Symbios.pk went on to win the competition.

Ingenious Zone is an IT company based in Faisalabad. Since 2006, they have been striving to make a name for themselves through their hard work and efforts. Initially six, they have now grown to 50+ members all working together to make the company a success. Ingenious Zone excels in providing IT solutions to companies all obver the world including web development and customized software development. At the end of September 2013, they were introduced to MITEFP at Arfa Kareem Technology Park and went on to make it to the final 8 teams. After a tough screening and various presentations, the team finally won the Bap’13 award as well as awards in two sub-categories.
