Supermeal.pk Introduces Guest Checkout to Simplify Order Process

Written by Uzair Ahmed ·  1 min read >

The business of online retailers is on the rise these days given the fact that an increasing number of internet users try to avoid the hassle of going out to the crowded marketplaces as much as they can manage. The recent earning figures of Pakistani startup BookMe are a testament to this fact. But the point of shopping online is defeated if there are long forms to fill and extraneous details to give. Perhaps this very aspect of online shopping has made Supermeal ponder their registration procedure.

According to the latest update to the Pakistan-based online food-ordering service, Supermeal.pk, customers can now order food without even having to register/signup. The checkout process of the service now has two alternatives: the standard signup/sign-in procedure and the new ‘Checkout as Guest’ option. Using the Guest Checkout feature, customer will have to provide Name, Contact number, and Address on the same page, and their order will be on its way following the confirmation over call.

“Supermeal believes in facilitating its precious consumers by making the Online Food Ordering process as simple as it could be,” reads the official announcement statement on Supermeal Blog. “Though the company highly values its registered customers who get a chance to receive latest updates and updated food menu via special emails, Supermeal.pk has drafted a simple one-way solution to serve you with online food order placement just in a single step.”

Having changed the brand identity from Foortal to Supermeal earlier this year to facilitate the expanding business operations, the service is one of the go-to choices for foodies in Pakistan. Customers can also use the Android App or company UAN to order food. Although the restaurants to choose from are limited and only in 5 cities of the country, namely Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Supermeal can grow steady appeal if it keeps up the pace of adding new features and services like the one discussed here.

Have you used any online portal to order food in the recent past, do tell us about your experience in the comments below!
