As we are very close to the world’s most widely anticipated technology show, CES 2018, which stands for Consumer Electronics Show, all eyes are awaiting what tech giants are going to unveil there. CES 2018 is all set to take place between January 9-12 in Las Vegas, where 170,000 people are expected to visit.

CES 2018 is expected to showcase gadgets from all of the technology segments, such as; drones, audio, smartphones, vehicles, IoT/smart home, AR/VR and the likes. It is quite obvious that we may not see the unveiling of many smartphones at the event, as compared to MWC and IFA, however, rumors suggest that some smartphones brands will still be there to unveil their latest inventions.

Samsung, Huawei, LG, Lenovo, Dell, Sony, and such others tech giants are expected to attend the event, however, we still don’t know which products they are planning to reveal on the tradeshow. By gathering rumors and leaks we have compiled a report for few brands which are most like to take their cut in CES 2018.

Samsung at CES 2018

Samsung is expected to launch several gadgets for CES 2018. There have been a couple of rumors to suggest the Galaxy S9 flagship smartphone will appear at the Vegas show but we’re doubtful. It is likely that the South Korean giant might reveal a video teaser about the phone. It is also likely that Samsung might launch its new smartphone from the Galaxy A series of 2018, which might be having S8 like infinity display. Rumors also suggest that Samsung Galaxy X, which will be the first foldable smartphone by the company is also expected to be launched at the tradeshow. Samsung has earlier filed a patent for its foldable Galaxy X phone.

Galaxy S9, Samsung's upcoming flagship is right around the corner. It is expected to be announced with a glimpse at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to be held in January 2018. Android users are anxiously waiting for this smartphone release as it is expected to have an array of new features including an improved facial recognition feature. The phones will sport 4GB RAM (https://www.techjuice.pk/samsung-galaxy-s9-plus-4gb-ram/)and we might be able to see three variants of the flagship device. Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S9 mini. The internet is overflowing with the concept pictures of S9 from different designers. The concept artists are visualizing upcoming flagship according to their thought process. One common theme in all the concept pictures is a full bezel-less screen. If that becomes a reality in the S9 series, it is going to be a great treat for Samsung buyers.

We do expect to see some new QLED TVs though, along with a few other updates, possibly in the smart home sector. Samsung could also announce an upgraded version of the Chromebook Pro, which was launched at CES 2017, this series could be a tough rival for Google’s PixelBook.

Huawei at CES 2018

Huawei, one of the largest smartphones manufacturer isn’t expected to launch new smartphones in Las Vegas. As the Mate 10 series was unveiled in October, so the Huawei P-series smartphones could possibly make their debut at MWC. However, chances are there that Chinese manufacturer might launch a trailer for its next smartphones series. It is also possible that the company will use the event to announce the launch of the Mate 10 Pro in the US.

LG at CES 2018

LG is confirmed to have a news briefing a day before the event on January 8. A report from a Korean media outlet also assures that the company might be revealing its G7 on the event, but it’s not confirmed. It appears that LG will follow the same footprints as of CES 2017, which means that the tech giant will launch next lineup of its K-series and Stylus 3 phablet in the trade show.

Sony at CES 2018

Sony is expected to launch its new QLED TV series on the trade show. It’s not still clear what else Sony might announce at CES 2018 but the Japanese company will be there so expect a couple of new devices, probably in the TV sector and maybe even mobile. However, Sony is also said to be launching new Xperia phone series, which will be featuring bezel-less display and dual rear cameras.

Lenovo at CES 2018

Lenovo is attending CES 2018 and Qualcomm has already confirmed that we’ll be seeing something from Lenovo in the Windows on ARM space. So it is highly expected that we might see a Snapdragon-powered laptop of Lenovo at CES 2018.
