This is how Pakistani startups can apply for $100,000 grant from UAE

Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi is bringing a great opportunity for younger and passionate entrepreneurs that will help them in their startups. This initiative is a part of the EXPO 2020 initiative that the UAE authorities have launched for its technological revolution.

If you believe you have that energy and spark to change the world and your startup can make a difference out there, do apply for the program. It is a good news for young Pakistani entrepreneurs that the UAE is inviting applications from all around the world for $100,000 grant to businesses under its EXPO 2020 initiative.

The successful candidates will get an award of up to $100,000 under the same initiative. The embassy is looking for businesses that focus on addressing the present world’s challenges. This may include issues related to:

  • Schooling
  • Poverty
  • Governance
  • Health
  • Employment
  • Logistics
  • Monetary capital
  • Digital connectivity
  • Green Growth

The embassy made the following announcement:

“We are looking for young Pakistani Entrepreneurs/Startups who have developed some innovative product/idea which has social utility and could be scaled up locally as well as globally to address today’s challenges related to education, governance, poverty, health, logistics, financial capital, employment, digital connectivity and green growth etc.”

How to Apply:

The program is open to problem solvers from around the world ranging from social entrepreneurs, SMEs, non-for-profit organizations, and government-related entities. Candidates will be capable to submit one software per grant software cycle.
You may register for this system on Expo Live ePortal directly The candidates will register online and submit a brief summary of their projects. The shortlisted candidates will then be invited to submit a full proposal for their project.
