iPhone X price starts at $1,000 but the company’s CEO, Tim Cook thinks that if you can afford a cup of coffee every day, you can afford an iPhone X.

Tim Cook encourages people to buy an iPhone X by saying that “So, if you think about that, that’s a few coffees a week. It’s less than a coffee a day at one of these nice coffee places.” Well, that must be some REALLY nice coffee place. Tim said this at the fiscal Q4 call where the major focus was iPhone X.

Tim Cook is right in a way. As if you get the iPhone X through Apple upgrade program, you’ll get it for $56 a month. If we break it down, that is less than $2 a day. And a coffee surely costs you around the same amount of money.

Tim added a lot of other things at the event. He said that this year was one of the strongest growth for Apple in “Greater China” and it was an all-time high for Mac and services revenue in China. He also added that iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are the two most popular iPhone models since they went on sale 2 months ago. Tim also added a note about the launch of iPhone X by saying that orders have already been very strong.

“The iPhone X orders are very strong for both direct customers and channel partners, which as you know are lots of carriers throughout the world. As of a few minutes ago, the first sales started in Australia. I’m told we had several hundred people waiting at the stores in Sydney, and I’m getting similar reports from stores across that region.”

He also added that there are “over 1,000 apps with powerful augmented reality features” in the App Store. He also had something to say about the Apple watch and AirPod as he added that Apple watch is “still the best-selling and most loved smartwatch in the world” and “our entire wearables business was up 75% year over year in the fourth quarter, and already generated the annual revenue of a Fortune 500 company”.

Apple is expecting to make more money this holiday season than ever. It is expected to make as much as $87 billion in revenue in three months out of which iPhone X will be responsible for $30 billion sales.
