The addition of FAST NUCES to the Mitacs Internship 2025 marks a significant milestone for Pakistani students aspiring to gain global research experience. Previously, only seven Pakistani universities were part of the initiative, which is known for its comprehensive support to international students.
Pakistani universities already part of the initiative include COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), University of the Punjab, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, University of Peshawar, and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS).
