Infinix is making a notable shift with its upcoming Note 60 series by adopting Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. This marks the first time in several years that the brand is moving away from MediaTek processors for its smartphones. The change signals Infinix’s push for stronger performance and better optimization across its devices.
The company confirmed that “select models” in the Note 60 lineup will feature Snapdragon chips. Pre-order pages in some regions already show that the Note 60 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. This partnership with Qualcomm aims to leverage system-level optimizations and deliver smoother performance.
According to Infinix, integrating Snapdragon processors will allow the Note 60 series to unlock “extraordinary possibilities” for users worldwide. The phones are designed to offer reliable performance across key areas, including power efficiency, immersive gaming, advanced imaging, and AI-driven features. The brand emphasizes that this approach will deliver a more seamless and consistent experience across its devices.
