iPhone Air 2 Rumored to Improve Battery Endurance and Camera Setup

The iPhone Air impressed many with its battery life, despite its slim design, but endurance remains a top concern. Another common complaint is the phone’s single-camera setup, which limits photography options for users. Apple appears ready to tackle these issues in the next-generation iPhone Air, according to recent reports.

Back in late December, sources suggested that the new iPhone Air could gain a second camera, likely an ultrawide lens. Now, the new leak says that Apple is also working to improve battery life. People familiar with the matter say the iPhone Air 2 may adopt a new CoE display technology, expected to debut with the rumored iPhone Fold this year.

The CoE technology makes the display thinner and improves visibility in bright sunlight. This reduces power consumption, as the screen does not need to increase brightness as much. A slimmer display could also leave room for a larger battery, offering longer endurance without changing the phone’s size.

While these details are still rumors, Apple will likely address the shortcomings of last year’s iPhone Air. Fans can expect meaningful upgrades in both camera capabilities and battery performance.
