Khyber Medical University (KMU) has released the results of the MDCAT 2025 for students across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to official figures, 53% of the candidates from the province qualified for MBBS admissions this year. Meanwhile, 58% managed to secure eligibility for BDS programs. Only 2% of students scored above 170 marks, reflecting the exam’s tough competition.
The university report further revealed that 9% of candidates obtained scores between 160 and 170, while 31% scored below 90 marks, rendering them ineligible for admission to medical or dental colleges.
KMU confirmed that out of 39,986 registered candidates, 1,539 did not appear for the test. The results have drawn attention to the performance gap among students in the province.
