Rawalpindi’s Metro Bus Service will face temporary suspensions during the Pakistan–Sri Lanka–Zimbabwe T20 Tri-Nation Series to accommodate team movements and security measures, officials confirmed.
Metro Bus authorities said the decision, made under directives from the district administration, aims to ensure smooth traffic flow and heightened security around the cricket venues. The service will be halted during match hours, affecting operations at Rehmanabad, Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, and Faizabad stations, while other stations will remain functional.
Officials added that the temporary shutdown is part of broader security arrangements to manage the surge in traffic and facilitate the transport of participating teams.
The T20 Tri-Nation Series is scheduled to take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore from November 17 to 29.
