MG has officially revealed the pricing of its newly debuted MG U9 pickup in Pakistan, confirming ex factory rates starting from Rs. 22.749 million weeks after its first public showing at PAPS 2025. The company had already begun bookings at Rs. 8 million, which MG has now clarified is completely non-refundable.
Following its showcase at last month’s Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2025, MG has formally issued a circular to dealerships announcing the final prices of the U9, a 2.5L turbo diesel full size pickup aimed at Pakistan’s premium utility market.
According to the company, the Explore Pro (Standard) variant is priced at Rs. 22,749,000, while the Explore Pro + Smart Hatch Option variant costs Rs. 23,949,000. These prices are ex factory, and freight charges will apply separately.
MG has also confirmed that the Rs. 8 million booking amount is non-refundable, with the remaining payment due 30 days before delivery. The expected delivery window is 90–100 days.
The MG U9 comes equipped with a 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine generating 215 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The pickup features four-wheel drive, a locking rear differential, and a commanding road presence.
With dimensions of 5,510 mm (L), 2,010 mm (W), and 1,880 mm (H), the U9 stands in the same league as globally popular mid-size pickups.
MG said in the circular,
“The U9 is engineered for Pakistani terrain, offering durability, power, and modern utility in a full-size pickup segment.”
