OnePlus has set the stage for its next major release by confirming the arrival date of the Ace 6T, bringing an end to weeks of teasers. The company claims it will be the first phone on the market powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which lends the launch extra weight in China’s competitive flagship market.
The Ace 6T will make its debut in China on December 3. Pre-bookings are already open on the official OnePlus China online store, giving early buyers a chance to lock in their orders before the phone hits shelves.
OnePlus is positioning the Ace 6T as a performance-driven device. The phone carries a metal frame, a dual-rear camera setup, and an AMOLED display with thin bezels. The screen also supports a 165 Hz refresh rate, which should help it stand out among gaming-focused rivals. Power comes from an 8,000 mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging, and the phone features a shortcut key instead of the traditional alert slider.
Buyers will get three color choices: Electric Violet, Flash Black, and Fleeting Green. In China, the phone will ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Meanwhile, OnePlus is preparing for a global launch on December 17. The company plans to release the OnePlus 15R internationally, and this model will be based on the Ace 6T.
