Pakistan Showcases 20 Companies at CIIE 2025 to Boost China Trade Ties

Pakistan is set to highlight its industrial strength and cultural heritage at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2025 in Shanghai, where 20 Pakistani companies will participate under the Pakistan Pavilion. The six-day exhibition, opening Wednesday, aims to expand trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Pakistan and China.

The pavilion will feature a wide range of products, including textiles, marble and onyx, brassware, jewellery, handicrafts, carpets, and furniture, showcasing Pakistan’s blend of tradition and modern craftsmanship.

Deputy Consul General Muhammad Atif said the event offers a valuable platform to introduce Pakistan’s innovation and creativity to global markets.

“CIIE provides a unique opportunity for Pakistan to present its craftsmanship and innovations to the world,” he remarked, adding that participation would strengthen bilateral trade and open new business opportunities.

The initiative is part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to deepen economic engagement with China under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework, promoting exports and attracting investment in local industries.
