The first-ever Pakistan Super League (PSL) player auction concluded in Lahore, with franchises finalizing their squads for the upcoming season after intense bidding for top local and overseas cricketers.
Several marquee players sparked fierce bidding wars, driving prices well above base amounts and significantly affecting team purses as franchises reshaped their combinations.
Faheem Ashraf became the first player sold for PKR 8.5 crore to Islamabad United, while Naseem Shah topped the chart at PKR 8.65 crore, and Daryl Mitchell secured PKR 8.05 crore.
Other major signings included Fakhar Zaman, David Warner, Haris Rauf, Mark Chapman, Khawaja Nafay, Salman Ali Agha, and Sahibzada Farhan.
