The Punjab School Education Department has rolled out a health profiling initiative for students across the province, aiming to improve both health and academic performance.
Preliminary surveys reveal that 258,000 students face minor health issues, 37,000 have moderate problems, and 8,500 experience severe health difficulties.
The education department emphasized providing special facilities and tailored learning strategies for students with additional needs.
Schools are distributing free milk and biscuits to improve child nutrition. Once profiling is completed, every student will receive individual care and necessary medical support, helping to enhance overall health and educational outcomes.
