Realme appears to be expanding its C-series lineup once again. A new rumor suggests the company is preparing the Realme C83, a device that will sit below the Realme C85 in the portfolio. The naming strategy makes that positioning clear. The C85 was first launched in November, and now attention seems to be shifting to the next addition.
According to the source, the Realme C83 will arrive in three RAM and storage options. These include 4/64GB, 4/128GB, and 6/128GB variants. Pricing in India has also surfaced. The 4/64GB model is rumored to cost INR 13,499. The 4/128GB version may be priced at INR 14,499. Meanwhile, the 6/128GB option could come in at INR 17,499.
The handset reportedly carries the model number RMX5256. It is expected to launch in two color options called Sprouting Green and Blooming Purple. While full specifications have not leaked yet, more details could surface soon. In most cases, additional information appears closer to launch.
The Realme C83 will succeed the Realme C73, which debuted last June. The C73 featured a 6.67-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. It ran on the Dimensity 6300 SoC and targeted budget-focused users. For photography, it offered a 32MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. The device also packed a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging.
At this stage, Realme has not confirmed the C83 officially. However, the early pricing and configuration leaks suggest a launch could be near.
