Realme has shared fresh details about its upcoming flagship, the GT 8 Pro, ahead of the series launch in China this October. A global rollout is expected to follow later in the year. Both devices in the lineup will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, setting the stage for a high-performance push.
Realme confirmed that the GT 8 Pro will feature a QHD BOE display, built on a customized Q10+ panel. Although often marketed as “2K,” the display actually offers higher clarity with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The company also promises stronger brightness levels along with enhanced eye protection features, aiming to deliver a smoother viewing experience. The GT 8 Pro will come with a flat display framed by slim, symmetrical bezels, giving it a clean and modern look.
On the software side, the GT 8 series will ship with Realme UI 7.0 right out of the box. The new interface is designed to provide smoother navigation and a more engaging gaming experience.
According to the source details, confirming that the GT 8 series will be available for under CNY 5,000 (roughly $700). With the official debut only weeks away, more information about Realme’s next flagship phones is expected to surface soon.
