SBP Reports Record Growth in Roshan Digital Accounts

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced that the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) has surpassed $12 billion in total inflows, reflecting strong confidence from overseas Pakistanis.

By the end of January 2026, the number of RDA accounts reached 901,764, up by 8,634 from the previous month. Investments in Islamic Non-Resident Pakistanis (NPC) accounts surged to $1,063 million, outpacing conventional NPCs at $518 million. Roshan Equity Investments climbed to $114 million, marking a 7.5 percent monthly increase, while other liabilities stood at $67 million and account balances at $540 million.

The initiative has gained popularity for seamless investment and banking services for overseas Pakistanis, enabling them to contribute to Pakistan’s financial ecosystem while managing accounts remotely.

The SBP expressed gratitude to the overseas Pakistani community for their continued trust and support, emphasizing the RDA’s role in strengthening cross-border financial engagement and investment channels.
