The Sindh MDCAT result 2025 has been issued alongside the announcement of MDCAT scores for students from Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan by the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University. Thousands of candidates participated in the nationwide entry test for admissions to medical and dental colleges.
According to SZABMU, a total of 4,086 students who secured 55 percent or more have qualified for MBBS admissions, while 4,598 candidates scoring 50 percent or above are eligible for enrollment in BDS programs. Out of 6,229 registered students, 5,895 appeared in the MDCAT, whereas 334 candidates remained absent.
Only 76 candidates managed to obtain over 170 marks out of 180, highlighting the competitive nature of the exam. Another 344 students scored between 160 and 169, while 550 achieved between 150 and 159 marks. Additionally, 592 students secured between 140 and 149 marks.
The results further show that 570 candidates earned scores between 130 and 139, and 652 fell in the 120 to 129 range. Meanwhile, 1,296 students scored only 89 marks, according to SZABMU’s official data. Officials stated that the MDCAT was conducted smoothly across Islamabad, AJK and GB, reflecting the rising interest in medical studies in Pakistan.
In a separate development related to the Sindh MDCAT result 2025, the SIBA Testing Service released the provisional results for the province. The test was held on October 26 across nine cities and 10 centers, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas and Larkana. STS confirmed that the provisional scores are available on its website and that candidates may submit objections via email until 5pm on November 1. Complaints submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
Officials reiterated that the minimum requirement for MBBS admission remains 55 percent, while 50 percent is needed for BDS, the same criteria followed by SZABMU.
