Another day, another victim of an AI-generated deepfake. An alleged “leaked” video of TikToker Alina Amir had been making rounds on social media. The TikTok personality has publicly addressed the claims regarding the video today, January 26, 2026. She firmly rejected the allegations. Furthermore, she confirmed that the content is artificially generated.
Alina released a detailed statement on Instagram. She condemned the misuse of AI technology and called for strict action against the perpetrators.
Initially, Alina chose silence. She observed the situation for a week. However, the situation escalated. She noticed a surge of misleading posts titled:
Alina Amir ki video leak ho gayi hai.
Translation: Alina Amir’s video got leaked.
Consequently, she felt compelled to speak.
Alina expressed deep concern over the spread of misinformation. She stated that some people go to any extent to defame others without verifying facts. She categorically denied the authenticity of the video. Additionally, she warned that spreading false information causes real harm. Therefore, users must confirm if the content is AI-generated before circulating it.
Alina made a direct appeal to authorities. She requested Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to take strict action against those creating AI-based illicit material targeting women.
Simultaneously, she praised the Crime Control Department (CCD) for their work on harassment cases. She urged CCD official Sohail Zafar Chattha to personally oversee this matter. She demanded that those responsible be arrested and punished severely.
To accelerate justice, Alina took a decisive step. She announced a cash reward for credible information identifying the video’s creator. She emphasised that accountability is essential to prevent future offences.
Alina highlighted that this issue extends beyond celebrities. Private individuals often suffer more, as they lack the means to defend themselves. She noted that fabricated content can cause lifelong trauma for victims and their families.
