Vivo iQOO 15 Ultra Set to Feature Record-Breaking Active Cooling System

Vivo’s gaming-focused sub-brand iQOO is preparing to launch its next flagship, the iQOO 15 Ultra, building on the success of the iQOO 15. The original iQOO 15 was introduced in China in October and subsequently made its way to international markets. Now, new leaks suggest the Ultra variant will arrive before February 17, promising enhanced performance and unique gaming features.

According to the source, the iQOO 15 Ultra will target mobile gamers with an active cooling fan and dedicated shoulder buttons. The fan is said to be the largest ever integrated into a smartphone, offering superior cooling to maintain high performance during intense gaming sessions.

iQOO reportedly claims this system will allow the 15 Ultra to perform at levels comparable to next-generation chips like the Dimensity 9600 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.

The phone will retain the premium Samsung-made display used in the iQOO 15, which is also expected in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Users can expect a 6.85-inch panel with 1440×3168 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness reaching 6,000 nits. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, ensuring top-tier performance for gaming and multitasking.
