Xiaomi is preparing for a global launch on November 26 through its Poco brand, and the company has confirmed the chips powering its next flagship pair. The Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra and F8 Pro are positioned as major upgrades, and the new hardware details strengthen that message.
Xiaomi revealed on social media that the Poco F8 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Meanwhile, the Poco F8 Pro will run the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. These processors place both devices among the most powerful Android phones this year. The F8 Ultra will also feature a VisionBoost D8 chipset that improves details and supports AI Super Resolution. Xiaomi says this extra chip will sharpen visuals during gaming and video playback.
The company also shared official renders of the phones. The designs look similar to the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max, which signals a focus on a clean and boxy aesthetic. The Poco F8 Ultra will include a 2.1 speaker system with a separate rear woofer. Bose tuned the sound to deliver a more immersive audio experience.
More information is expected as the launch approaches. However, the chipset confirmation shows that the Xiaomi Poco F8 series is aimed at users who want strong hardware performance and better audio quality.
