3g 4g Services Suspended In Islamabad And Rawalpindi

Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control accorded approval to suspend 3G/4G services in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi for 10th October, 2025. The services got suspended at 12:00 AM, midnight.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has been requested to take further necessary action in the matter in coordination with the Commisioner and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Office, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), and Commisioner and Regional Police Officer (RPO) Office, Rawalpindi.

Speculations are that the 3G/4G services are suspended due to technical issues. But, they could be because of today’s riots in the country by Tehreek e Lab’baiq Pakistan (TLP).
