Changan Pakistan Raises Alsvin Prices by Rs. 250,000, Effective May 1 2025
Changan Pakistan has announced a price increase for its popular Alsvin sedan lineup. The revised pricing will come into effect from May 1, 2025, with a uniform increase of Rs. 250,000 across all variants.
The 1.3L Comfort MT variant will now be priced at Rs. 4,099,000, a rise from its previous cost of Rs. 3,849,000. Similarly, the mid-tier and top-tier models have seen comparable price hikes. The 1.5L Comfort DCT will now retail for Rs. 4,649,000, up from Rs. 4,399,000, while the 1.5L Lumiere DCT will be available for Rs. 4,799,000, an increase from Rs. 4,549,000. Furthermore, the 1.5L Lumiere DCT Black Edition, previously priced at Rs. 4,649,000, will now cost Rs. 4,899,000.
The price increase emerges during a period when production expenses continue to rise and the local automotive market encounters ongoing economic difficulties. Auto manufacturers modify their pricing strategy due to rising production costs and material expenses.

Changan Pakistan has also updated its installment plans to accommodate the new prices. For example, the 1.3L Comfort MT variant, priced at Rs. 4,099,000, would require a monthly installment of Rs. 104,900, along with a residual value of 25% and a security deposit of Rs. 1,024,750.
As car prices continue to rise, this price increase may have an impact on potential buyers, particularly in the current economic climate where inflation and rising costs are affecting consumer purchasing power.
