Google Hosts Think Apps 2025 to Empower Pakistan’s Developers Through AI Innovation

Google hosted Think Apps 2025 in Lahore on October 23, gathering over 400 of Pakistan’s leading developers along with regional and global tech experts. The event aimed to empower developers to harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) for innovation, growth, and sustainability in Pakistan’s booming digital economy.

Marking the largest app and gaming event of the year, Think Apps 2025 highlighted Pakistan’s rise as a major player in the global app ecosystem, with the local developer community growing at an impressive 20% annually. Experts estimated that digital exports could contribute up to $6.6 billion in annual revenue by 2030.

“Pakistan is home to one of the world’s fastest-growing developer communities,” said Farhan S. Qureshi, Country Director, Google Pakistan. “Think Apps 2025 reaffirms our commitment to helping these developers harness AI to build globally successful, sustainable businesses.”

During the event, participants explored how AI is transforming app development  from accelerating coding and content generation to creating new app categories. Sessions provided insights on Google Cloud, Google Ads, AdMob, and Ad Manager, offering practical strategies for smart growth and effective monetization.

International studios like Noctua Games (Singapore/Indonesia) and Falcon Studio (Vietnam) also joined the event, sharing global success stories and best practices.
