Realme C85 Pro and C85 5G Launch With 6.8-Inch Displays and 45W Fast Charging

Realme has officially introduced its new C85 series in Vietnam, featuring the C85 Pro and C85 5G. The company is bringing its budget-friendly lineup to more markets soon, with the Pakistan launch expected on November 8. Both phones promise long battery life, smoother displays, and upgraded software, all while keeping prices accessible. Interestingly, the Pro variant is priced lower than the standard C85 5G, a surprising twist for the series.

Performance and Software

The C85 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 processor, supporting 4G LTE, whereas the C85 5G runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chip, bringing 5G connectivity to the lineup. Both phones come with 8GB RAM, expandable up to 24GB using virtual memory, and offer up to 256GB of internal storage with microSD support.

Out of the box, both devices run Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0, offering a smoother interface and improved functionality. Future software updates are also expected to enhance the overall experience.

Display and Design

Both smartphones feature 6.8-inch displays, though they use different screen technologies. The C85 Pro sports an AMOLED Full HD+ panel (1080 x 2344 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,000 nits peak brightness, offering sharp visuals and vivid colors. Meanwhile, the C85 5G opts for an LCD HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, focusing on smoother performance.

Realme has also enhanced durability with IP69-rated water resistance. The C85 Pro measures 8.09mm in thickness and weighs 205 grams, while the C85 5G is slightly bulkier at 8.38mm and 215 grams. Both models come in two color options, Parrot Purple and Peacock Green.

Camera Setup

Realme has kept things simple yet functional with the camera system. Both the C85 Pro and C85 5G feature a 50MP primary camera for everyday shots and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery and Pricing

Battery performance is one of the key highlights of the C85 series. Each device packs a 7,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, ensuring long use and quick top-ups.

In terms of pricing, the Realme C85 Pro starts at around $245 for the 8GB + 128GB version, while the 256GB model costs about $270. The C85 5G, available only in the 8GB + 256GB configuration, is priced at approximately $290.
