Islamabad Traffic Police's Schedule for Mobile Facilitation Vans Announced

Islamabad Traffic Police has rolled out a fleet of mobile facilitation vans from November 17 to 23, 2025, to make driving licence and vehicle documentation services more accessible to citizens. Operating daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the initiative aims to reduce long queues at offices and bring essential services closer to residents.

The vans will provide services including driving licence renewals, duplicate licences, learner permits, international driving permits, character certificates, and vehicle documentation. ASI Younas will supervise the operations, and citizens can call the ITP helpline at 1915 for guidance.

“Citizens are requested to carry original CNIC and vehicle registration documents and follow queue discipline,” an ITP spokesperson said.

Each day, the vans will operate at different locations across Islamabad, from Zero Point and Faizabad to NUML University and Parliament House, ensuring coverage of major residential and commercial areas. The “PS on Wheel” unit will also move to key points daily to facilitate services efficiently.

This initiative reflects Islamabad Police’s commitment to citizen-centric services, easing access to government facilities and improving public convenience in urban mobility management.
