The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has confirmed all team captains for the 2026 season, with Hammad Azam appointed to lead the newly announced Hyderabad Kingsmen franchise.
Other leading players taking on captaincy roles include Babar Azam for Peshawar Zalmi, Shaheen Shah Afridi for Lahore Qalandars, and Shadab Khan captaining Islamabad United in the tournament.
Quetta Gladiators will be captained by Saud Shakeel, while Karachi Kings have appointed David Warner, Multan Sultans chose Ashton Turner, and Pindiz named Muhammad Rizwan as their team leader.

This season marks a historic expansion for the PSL, with matches planned across six different cities, providing fans nationwide the first opportunity to watch top-level cricket in multiple venues.
Eight teams will compete in PSL 11, including the original six franchises and two new entrants, Pindiz and Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen, both making their tournament debuts this year in the league.
The tournament is set to begin on 26 March in Lahore, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars facing Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen in the opening fixture at the Gaddafi Stadium.
PSL 11 will run for 39 days, concluding on 3 May, featuring a total of 44 matches, offering fans more cricket action and excitement than in previous seasons.
Each team will play ten group-stage matches, with the top four sides advancing to the playoffs, while the PCB has also reserved 4 May as a backup day for the final.
