Sahibzada Farhan scored first century of the season as Multan Sultans defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen by six wickets in the eighth Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 match.
Multan Sultans successfully chased a target of 226 runs with eight balls remaining, losing four wickets, with the opening batter anchoring the innings from start to finish.
The right-hander remained unbeaten on 106 runs from 57 deliveries, striking eight sixes and seven fours while maintaining the required scoring rate throughout the chase.
Farhan shared an opening partnership with Steve Smith, who scored 46 runs, while Shan Masood added 29 before an unbeaten stand with Arafat Minhas sealed victory.
Arafat Minhas contributed 26 runs from 11 balls in the closing stages as Multan Sultans completed the chase comfortably against Hyderabad Kingsmen during the match.
Saim Ayub led the Kingsmen bowling effort with two wickets for 43 runs, while Maheesh Theekshana and Hassan Khan claimed one wicket each during innings.
Kingsmen post 225 after strong batting effort
Earlier, Hyderabad Kingsmen scored 225 runs for five wickets in their 20 overs after captain Marnus Labuschagne elected to bat first in the match.
Opening batters Saim Ayub and Maaz provided a rapid start, adding 59 runs in five overs before Ayub was dismissed after scoring 27 runs quickly.
Maaz continued attacking and scored 62 runs from 26 deliveries, including five sixes and five fours, before being dismissed during the tenth over.
Wicket-keeper batter Usman Khan was dismissed shortly after as Kingsmen lost wickets in quick succession, slipping to 127 for four in 11.2 overs during innings.
Left-handed batter Sharjeel Khan then led the late innings effort with an unbeaten 51 runs from 26 deliveries, supported by Syed Saad Ali and Muhammad Irfan Khan.
Saad Ali scored 23 runs while Irfan Khan remained unbeaten on 22, helping Hyderabad Kingsmen reach a competitive total at the end overall innings.
Mohammad Wasim Jr was the leading bowler for Multan Sultans, taking two wickets for 37 runs, while Mohammad Nawaz and Peter Siddle took one each.
Farhan reaches 5000 T20 runs milestone
During the match, Sahibzada Farhan also completed 5000 runs in T20 cricket, reaching the milestone in 160 innings, matching Mohammad Rizwan among Pakistani players.
Babar Azam remains the fastest Pakistani to reach the 5000 run milestone in T20 cricket, achieving the mark in 145 innings during his career.
