Quetta Gladiators all-rounder Ahmed Daniyal sustained a right hamstring injury while attempting a third run in the penultimate over of the first innings against Multan Sultans.
Daniyal was immediately taken to hospital for scans, with his availability for the remainder of the match subject to medical assessment and clearance from team management.
Medical staff confirmed Daniyal pulled up sharply after completing two runs, collapsing mid-pitch before teammates assisted him off the field for further treatment.
The incident occurred on the fifth ball of the last over, and team officials confirmed scans would determine his availability for the remainder of match.
Quetta Gladiators posted 166 for seven in their allotted twenty overs, with Saud Shakeel scoring a half century and Bevon Jacobs contributing forty nine runs.
In response, Multan Sultans reached 127 for two twelve overs, requiring 40 runs from 48 balls with Steven Smith and Shan Masood at crease.
Smith completed his half century off twenty nine deliveries, while Masood scored twenty runs, as the pair added thirty one runs for the third wicket.
Earlier, Multan chose to bowl first after winning the toss, with Mohammad Nawaz and Arafat Minhas sharing five wickets to restrict Quetta during middle overs.
