Star English batter James Vince officially joined Peshawar Zalmi in Karachi on Monday, strengthening their squad for the ongoing eleventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The former champions confirmed the arrival of Vince through their official social media platforms, warmly welcoming him ahead of a crucial fixture against the strong Multan Sultans.
The Babar Azam-led side secured the experienced thirty-five-year-old batter during players auction, investing thirty million rupees to ensure his services for this PSL campaign.
Vince missed the opening five matches in the ongoing edition PSL 11, sparking speculation and questions regarding his availability for the remainder of the competitive tournament.
Peshawar Zalmi currently lead the PSL 11 standings with nine points, collected impressively from their first five matches, showcasing consistent performances across fixtures.
They now face second-placed Multan Sultans at the National Bank Stadium on Monday, a highly anticipated clash between two strong contenders for the title.
Vince has previously represented Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, and Multan Sultans, featuring across eight different editions of the Pakistan Super League tournament.
The right-handed batter ranks among top ten all-time run-scorers in PSL, having played 56 innings and consistently delivering impactful performances throughout his career.
