Realme is expanding its 16 Series lineup with a new smartphone called the Realme 16T. The company confirmed that the device will launch on May 22 alongside the existing Realme 16, Realme 16 Pro, and Realme 16 Pro+ models.
According to Realme, the Realme 16T focuses on users who need long battery life during daily tasks and travel. The company is calling the smartphone an “8000mAh 3-Day Powerhouse” because of its large battery capacity.
The device packs an 8,000 mAh battery inside an 8.8mm slim body. It also supports 45W wired charging for faster top-ups. In addition, the smartphone comes with all-scenario bypass charging support, which helps reduce heat during gaming and charging sessions.
Realme also confirmed that the Realme 16T will feature a 6.8-inch display. However, the company has not revealed the screen resolution or refresh rate yet. Even so, Realme claims the phone can deliver up to 11 hours of continuous BGMI gameplay while maintaining a stable 60 FPS performance.
The smartphone will arrive in Aurora Green, Starlight Red, and Starlight Black color options. Meanwhile, Realme has not officially confirmed the chipset. Still, recent Geekbench listings suggest the device could use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC.
