Canva has launched a connector for Perplexity Computer that turns AI-generated research, strategy documents, and business briefs directly into editable visual designs. The integration eliminates the manual step of transferring AI outputs into design software, letting users move from insight to publishable content without leaving their workflow.
Perplexity Computer serves as a multi-model AI orchestrator, pulling information from meeting notes, performance data, web research, and internal business documents to generate structured briefs. Once connected through Perplexity’s Connectors page, Canva converts those briefs into presentations, social media campaigns, infographics, brand kits, and reusable templates. All assets remain fully editable inside Canva and support collaboration across teams.
Canva says content creation has become the top reason small businesses adopt AI, with 74% of small businesses relying on digital platforms to compete against larger organizations. Perplexity already serves over 100 million monthly active users, while Canva’s global user base exceeds 250 million across 190 countries. AI usage on Canva’s platform has tripled over the past year.
The integration supports practical use cases that matter most to growing teams. A sales lead can become a tailored pitch deck, a client meeting can become a polished proposal, and a seasonal market trend can become a launch-ready campaign. Canva is currently Perplexity’s only design partner inside Perplexity Computer.
The connector fits into Canva’s broader strategy of embedding its design capabilities across major AI ecosystems. Canva already supports integrations with Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini, making this addition a direct expansion of that approach.
Canva currently supports integrations with:
- Claude
- ChatGPT
- Copilot
- Gemini
- Perplexity Computer
Availability is limited to Perplexity Pro, Max, Enterprise Pro, and Enterprise Max subscribers. The connector supports 11 languages including English, Hindi, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and Russian. Users can activate it through the Connectors page inside Perplexity Computer and link an existing Canva account to begin generating designs.
