Radar services at Islamabad International Airport will remain suspended for eight hours on Monday due to maintenance work, with Lahore Airport providing backup radar coverage to keep flight operations running smoothly, sources said.
The suspension will be in effect from 10am to 6pm. Sources said air traffic operations will not be affected during this period, as Lahore Airport will take over radar services for flights.
Under the alternative arrangement, air traffic monitoring and guidance will be managed from Lahore.
Sources added that radar services provided from Lahore Airport will cover both international and domestic flights, ensuring air operations continue as usual during the maintenance window.
