The federal government has increased the price of jet fuel by Rs. 13.23 per litre, following the latest revision in petroleum product prices amid rising international oil prices.
According to an official notification issued on Saturday, the new price of Jet A-1 fuel has been set at Rs. 251.20 per litre.
The increase comes a day after the government raised the prices of petrol, high-speed diesel (HSD), and kerosene oil as part of its fortnightly fuel price review.
Officials attributed the latest adjustment to the continued rise in global crude oil prices, which has pushed up the cost of petroleum products in Pakistan.
The higher jet fuel prices are expected to increase operating costs for airlines, potentially adding financial pressure to the aviation sector as international energy markets remain volatile.
