Redmi has shared more details about the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro Max just days before its official launch on August 11. The company has now confirmed the phone’s battery, charging speeds, display improvements, and design. It also released new official images showing the device in its gold white color.
The Redmi K100 Pro Max will feature a large 9,070mAh battery. It will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. In addition, the phone will offer 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging. These features allow users to charge other compatible devices.
Redmi had already confirmed that the smartphone will include a 6.9-inch AMOLED display. The screen will support a 185Hz refresh rate and deliver up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. Now, the company has revealed more details about the display technology.
According to Redmi, the new panel improves luminous efficiency by 20% compared to earlier solutions. It also uses a full RGB lossless pixel arrangement. The company says the display offers better clarity than a 2K panel. At the same time, it consumes less power than a 1.5K display.
Alongside the new specifications, Redmi has also published official renders of the K100 Pro Max in a Gold White finish. Earlier, the company showcased the smartphone in a cabernet red color option. Both colors will be available when the device launches.
Redmi has also confirmed that the K100 Pro Max will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The smartphone will also include a Bose-powered speaker system for improved audio performance.
The Redmi K100 Pro series will make its official debut on August 11. Meanwhile, pre-orders for both the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max are already live through Xiaomi’s official online store in China.
