The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased electricity prices across Pakistan by 75 paisa per unit under the monthly fuel adjustment mechanism for June 2026.
According to a notification issued by the regulator, the increase falls under the monthly adjustment for June and will also apply to consumers of K-Electric.
The additional charge will be reflected in the electricity bills for August.
The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) had originally requested an increase of Rs1.20 per unit for the June adjustment, though Nepra approved a lower rate of 75 paisa per unit.
This follows a similar adjustment in May, when electricity prices for the entire country were raised by 34 paisa per unit.
