The Redmi 17C 5G has appeared in a European retail listing, revealing most of its specifications and available color options. The listing comes nearly three weeks after the phone appeared on Geekbench.
The Geekbench listing pointed to MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset. Now, the new retail listing provides more details about the upcoming budget phone. It also suggests that Xiaomi could soon bring the device to international markets.
According to the listing, the Redmi 17C 5G will offer 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Users will also get a microSD card slot with support for up to 1TB of additional storage.
The phone is expected to run Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3. It will feature a large 6.9-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. An 8MP selfie camera will sit inside a traditional notch. For photography, the phone will reportedly use a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. It will also pack a 6,000mAh battery, although the listing does not mention its charging speed.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will also support 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4. The listing shows black, brown, and purple color options.
The European listing is also important for Xiaomi fans in Pakistan. It suggests that the Redmi 17C 5G could reach markets outside China. However, Xiaomi has not confirmed a Pakistan launch or local pricing yet.
Based on the earlier Geekbench leak, the phone was expected to cost around Rs 44,999 to Rs 50,000 in Pakistan. That remains an early estimate and could change based on taxes, local specifications, and Xiaomi’s launch strategy.
The Redmi 17C 5G could appeal to buyers seeking an affordable 5G phone. Its Dimensity 6300 chip, 120Hz display, and 6,000mAh battery are likely to be its key selling points.
However, the 4GB RAM could limit performance during heavy multitasking and gaming. Xiaomi has not announced a launch date yet, but the latest retail leak suggests that an official release may be getting closer.
