The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has revised its communication procedure for candidates applying to general recruitment positions, according to a public notice issued by the commission.
Under the new system, candidates will receive all recruitment related updates through the FPSC website, email and SMS instead of relying solely on previous methods of contact.
Details regarding document verification and interview schedules will be shared through these three channels. Candidates whose applications are rejected will also be notified of the reason through the website, email and SMS.
The commission has extended the same procedure to representation and review petitions, with candidates informed if their petitions are rejected through the same platforms.
Information about final selection results will likewise be communicated via the FPSC website, email and SMS. However, candidates who are recommended for appointment will continue to receive formal notification through postal mail.
The move is aimed at streamlining communication with applicants and ensuring timely delivery of recruitment related information across all stages of the hiring process
