The Punjab government has announced new project-based employment opportunities with monthly salaries of up to Rs. 358,750 under the Improving Workforce Readiness in Punjab Project.
The vacancies have been announced through the Project Implementation Unit of the project, operating under the Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department. The initiative is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The department is inviting applications from qualified candidates holding Punjab domicile. All appointments will be made on a contract basis.
Available positions include Deputy Directors, Specialists, Assistant Directors, Computer Operators, Office Assistants, Drivers and Office Boy/Dispatch Runner posts.
Qualification and experience requirements vary depending on the position. Senior positions under Project Pay Scale 8 generally require relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees along with substantial professional experience. Some positions require around 10 years of relevant experience.
Candidates applying for Assistant Director positions generally need 16 years of education in the relevant field along with relevant professional experience.
For Computer Operator and Office Assistant positions, applicants must hold a BSc, BCom or BA degree. Candidates with a six-month computer certificate may receive preference.
Applicants for Driver and Office Boy/Dispatch Runner positions must have at least primary-level education. Drivers are also required to hold a valid driving license issued after 2015.
Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the Punjab Job Portal. Applicants are also required to send a hard copy of their application along with their CV, passport-size photograph, attested CNIC, educational documents, degrees, experience certificates and proof of online application.
The required documents must be sent through postal or courier service to the Project Implementation Unit.
The department has warned that applications will not be considered if candidates fail to submit the required hard copies along with their online applications.
