The Sindh government has approved the implementation of new recruitment rules for all educational boards across the province, following the approval of the rules by the provincial Cabinet.
The recruitment rules will come into effect after their publication in the official government gazette. The move is part of broader efforts to improve administration, recruitment procedures, and digital services across Sindh’s educational boards.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo. Officials reviewed the performance and administrative affairs of educational boards, examination-related matters, and progress on digitalization initiatives.
During the meeting, authorities approved the immediate recruitment of IT specialists to support e-marking and digitalization initiatives across the boards.
Educational boards have been directed to recruit professionals for several key positions, including Director of IT, Website Developer, System Administrator, and Network Security Administrator. The appointments are expected to strengthen the boards’ digital infrastructure and improve technology-based examination services.
Officials were also instructed to prepare seniority lists of employees working across all educational boards without delay. The step is intended to improve personnel management and administrative transparency.
The meeting also focused on safety and administrative improvements. Authorities were directed to enhance fire-safety arrangements in board buildings and strengthen administrative procedures.
Meanwhile, separate recruitment rules for the Technical Education Board are expected to be finalized soon.
The provincial government also decided to recognize board chairpersons who ensured the timely conduct of examinations and prompt announcement of results by awarding them certificates.
The Sindh government said the reforms are aimed at improving administrative efficiency, increasing the use of modern technology, and ensuring greater transparency in recruitment and examination-related processes.
