The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released version 5.7.4 of its PakID mobile application, introducing four new features aimed at making identity-related services more convenient for citizens.
The latest update includes a dedicated Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) section, which will support the future registration and tracking of FIA-related complaints through the app.
NADRA has also simplified the process of adding family members when a Family Registration Certificate (FRC) contains incomplete family information. The change is expected to make the process easier for users dealing with incomplete records.
Another improvement allows automatic cropping of signatures. Users can now adjust their signatures more conveniently while completing applications through the PakID app.
The updated PakID app now also provides digital versions of CNICs, NICOPs, and POCs. Citizens can access these digital identity documents through the application while continuing to use printing and delivery services.
NADRA has also invited users to submit suggestions for additional features they would like to see in future versions of the PakID app.
The latest update is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to expand digital identity services and make government documentation more accessible through mobile platforms.
