The Virtual University of Pakistan has opened registration for a new batch of free online courses aimed at helping learners develop digital and professional skills.
The latest short-course program includes training in artificial intelligence, programming, cybersecurity, data science, entrepreneurship, and digital safety.
According to the university, registration for the courses opened on August 31, 2026, and interested learners can apply until September 6, 2026. Live online classes are scheduled to begin on September 9.
The courses will run for approximately four to six weeks, with all classes conducted online. This will allow registered participants to attend the sessions remotely from anywhere.

Learners interested in emerging technologies can enroll in the Introduction to Modern AI and Introduction to Data Science courses. The university has also included Discovering Entrepreneurship for participants seeking basic knowledge of business and entrepreneurial skills.
With registration closing on September 6, interested learners can apply before the deadline to join the upcoming online training batch.
