Team SKYRA took home top honors at Change Mechanics’ League of Launchers AI bootcamp. The eight-week program, delivered in partnership with S&P Global, concluded with a high-energy Demo Day where participants pitched MVPs to industry judges.
SKYRA’s winning product, Bloom, offers contactless health screening and monitoring specifically designed for schools, addressing a critical gap in student wellness infrastructure.
Bloom enables schools to conduct faster, safer health checks without physical contact, making student wellness monitoring more accessible and efficient. The solution represents the type of practical, impact-driven innovation the bootcamp aimed to cultivate. SKYRA’s team, led by Kiran Waqar, Shamaiem Shabbir, and Maryam Sheraz, clinched the top prize of PKR 100,000 and continued mentorship support.
Change Mechanics equipped bootcamp participants with hands-on training and one-on-one mentorship from industry experts throughout the eight weeks. Knowledge Partners including Google Developers Group Islamabad, GDG Cloud, and Canva Community Islamabad provided technical depth across cloud technologies, development best practices, and design thinking. This collaborative approach ensured participants received multidisciplinary guidance while building their MVPs from concept to launch.
The League of Launchers program reflects a deliberate strategy to accelerate Pakistan’s startup ecosystem by reducing the time between ideation and market-ready products. Participants emerged from the bootcamp not just with functional prototypes but also with validated business models and access to industry networks. Bloom’s focus on school health demonstrates how AI solutions can address real-world challenges in Pakistan’s education sector specifically.
