For photography, the iQOO 16 will have a 50MP main camera. The sensor will reportedly measure 1/1.3 inches in size. The setup will also include a 50MP ultrawide camera. A 50MP periscope telephoto camera will offer 3x optical zoom.
The telephoto camera is said to use Sony’s IMX882 sensor. For selfies, the phone will reportedly feature a 32MP front camera. Power will come from an 8,400 mAh battery. The phone will support 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
The iQOO 16 will also bring several hardware features aimed at gaming and durability. These include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and a dual-axis vibration motor. The phone will feature symmetrical stereo speakers as well. It is also expected to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Connectivity will include USB 3.2 support. This should also make the phone more useful for users who transfer large files. Meanwhile, the iQOO Pad Ultra will focus on a large OLED display and gaming performance. The tablet is expected to feature an 8.8-inch OLED panel.
The screen will have a 2304×1440 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It will also support a 165Hz refresh rate. The tablet will reportedly use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. Like the phone, it will be paired with iQOO’s Q4 self-developed gaming chip.
