The Punjab School Education Department has announced School Teacher Interns (STI) jobs for government schools across the province, offering monthly stipends ranging from Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 45,000.
Both male and female candidates aged 21 to 45 can apply for the internships, which are available at primary, elementary, high and higher secondary schools. The required qualifications vary by school level, while candidates with B.Ed or M.Ed qualifications will receive preference.
Applications are being accepted online through the official STI portal until October 18, 2026, at 11:59 pm. The internship period will run from November 3, 2026, to May 31, 2027, and selected candidates will receive certificates after completing their placements.
According to the recruitment schedule, initial merit lists will be displayed on October 23, objections will be handled on October 26 and 27, and interviews will take place on October 29 and 30. Final merit lists will be announced on October 31, followed by agreement letters on November 2.
The department has clarified that the STI positions are temporary and will not be converted into permanent government appointments. Candidates can check available positions, eligibility requirements and application details through the official STI portal.
