The Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have finalized an agreement to digitally link their verification systems. The arrangement will allow direct and secure digital verification of HEC-attested educational documents.
Under the new system, the verification process will become faster and easier, with less reliance on manual procedures. The agreement provides for data sharing between the two institutions while protecting the confidentiality of information.
The digital system includes cybersecurity safeguards and measures to protect personal data of citizens. It is also expected to improve transparency and reliability in the assessment of educational documents.
Pakistanis applying for education or employment abroad are expected to benefit from the facility.
