Biometric verification and registration of all Zu cards for Zu Peshawar will become mandatory from October 15, with a deadline of December 31, 2026.
Cards that remain unregistered will be blocked from January 1, 2027, and will no longer be valid for travel. TransPeshawar said passengers can register their cards at ticket counters at all BRT stations during station operating hours.
Adult passengers must present their original Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) and their Zu card. Counter staff will enter the required information and complete the registration after biometric verification.
Zu cards issued to children can be registered using the child’s B-Form.
