Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended the deadline for Autumn 2026 admissions until October 6, 2026, giving students additional time to submit their applications.
The revised deadline applies to Matric, FA, Associate Degree, B.Ed, Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and certificate programmes. Continuing students can also complete their admission process by October 6, subject to the applicable late fee.
The Autumn 2026 admission schedule includes programmes offered through Open Distance Learning (ODL), along with selected face-to-face programmes. Eligible students can apply for programmes ranging from secondary and intermediate education to undergraduate and postgraduate studies, depending on the requirements of each programme.
Students applying during the extended period will be required to pay the applicable late fee. AIOU has advised applicants to review the eligibility criteria and select their programmes according to their existing qualifications.
Applications can be submitted through AIOU’s online admission system, while manual admission options and designated sale points are also available for applicable programmes. The final deadline for the extended admission period is October 6, 2026.
